Spent my entire 25 minute commute crying.

I did not want to jump to this conclusion too quickly but today basically confirmed the fact that I cannot stand my mentor teacher.

However, I am still determined to go with the flow and work on my own to find something positive to take away from this…

In all honesty see this situation as a chance to learn how to deal with people you cant stand at all. This is not always a problem of ‘them’ being an ass but more like oil and water just don’t want to mix.

Now some stuff you can learn from this is, the knowledge and maybe skill of subtle ignoring and yet finding patterns that you can pick up for important information , hint: the foundation lays in the intonation and body language.
Another point is being able to mediate between people (if some students have a fight/quarrel you could be able to keep your nerve in the process).
There is more but depending how you handle the situation you learn other things. 

And why I can say this is because I had the best teacher in the world, no sarcasm included. My mother and I have very conflicting personalities. My mother has a very social/cuban personality with addition of having adhd. And I am born and raised in Belgium witch has a ‘colder’ character and ADD that tends to make me very introverted from time to time, all by all I’m the calculative type.

Though I still love her very much.

Ps. Some people just don’t mix at first.
